Praying through Praise and Worship
On day 7 of our journey and Pentecost is just 2 days away. It is the day when the Spirit descended on the crowd and they all worshipped in their own languages - what a wonderful noise that must have been! Sometimes music and singing can lift our spirits and the words of hymns and songs help us to pray to God, to give thanks for all he does for us. When this pandemic is over there will be rejoicing, thanksgiving and praise to a God who through this terrible time has given us a new focus on the world around us. We have walked in his creation, learnt to live as families and communities and found that caring for each other is a good thing.
If you find praying difficult, think of your favourite hymn or worship song and sing - you will find strength from just singing.
